As a team leader, Jaq performed well. Her team of four delivered the modules on time and in good quality. The regional roll-out was a great success with great thanks to Jaq and her team. This led to public recognition for Jaq by HQ.

As a management trainee who performed well in this project, Jaq was presented with several options for career advancement.

1. Go to U.S. for training to improve her skills and become an expert in her field

2. Accept the position of project manager and take on new initiatives as the contact person for the Asia-Pacific region

3. Transfer to the position of business analyst and bridge end users with the project team

4. Transfer to another department to become relationship manager

During our coaching sessions, we discussed Jaq’s values, her desired career outcomes, and her levels of commitment. As we walked this journey, clarifying, aligning, and integrating, her choices became clearer.

While waiting for the results of the interviews for the positions of relationship manager and business analyst, Jaq researched the roles and responsibilities of a project manager. Two months later, she become a project manager, and another journey began.
